We are a family from Nuenen and would like to share the wonderful feeling that Casa El Girasol gives us with you. Nuenen is also known as the “Van Gogh village”, because Vincent van Gogh lived and worked here for part of his life. We took that inspiration with us to Spain: you will notice that the Van Gogh theme subtly returns in various places in the house. For example, you will occasionally find a nod to his work or a touch of color from his famous paintings.

It is not without reason that the name “Casa el Girasol” means “the house of the sunflower”, a tribute to Van Gogh's love for sunflowers and to the sunny, hospitable character of the Valencia region.
