Beaches
Platja de El Saler is a beautiful beach south of Valencia. The beach of El Saler is only a 35-minute drive from the casa. An ideal beach for tranquility seekers who want to enjoy the Mediterranean coast. There are no beach bars but there is a restaurant at the beach. In the village itself you can eat very good paella.

Port Saplaya has 2 sandy beaches, each about a kilometer long, separated by the marina. A beautiful beach outside Valencia with cozy eateries. Valencia has three city beaches.

LA MALVARROSA Malvarrosa is the northern city beach, on the side of the village of Alboraya. This beach with fine sand is about one kilometer long and 135 meters wide. There are facilities such as showers and toilets.

LAS ARENAS Las Arenas beach is located south of La Malvarrosa, next to the port of Valencia. This beach tends to be a bit busier because there are more facilities and it is closer to the center of Valencia. It is a sandy beach about a kilometer long and 135 meters wide. There are several amenities, such as beach beds, volleyball courts and restrooms. On the harbor side of the beach you will find a promenade with several bars and restaurants. Read more about this beach on the Las Arenas page.

PATACONA Patacona is the beach just past La Malvarrosa. And it is located behind a pier. You will mostly encounter locals here. Furthermore, there are nice terraces, in the summer beach bars and it is mainly nice and quiet.

Sights Port Saplaya Near the pleasantly busy Valencia, lies the small port of Port Saplaya. Also called Little Venice by the locals. Canals surrounded by colorful tall houses and small boats make you imagine yourself in Venice, but a bit smaller. The quaint town has two sandy beaches, each about a kilometer long, separated by the marina. The marina is super beautiful to walk through with all the boats in the water, the coves and the beautiful, colorful apartments. One of the reasons Spaniards often go to Port Saplaya is because it is quieter than other beaches. Would you rather go to a pool? Then there is the possibility of a dip in the outdoor pool Piscina Port Saplaya. In summer, the pool is widely used by the residents of the place. The port town is a very convenient place to spend an afternoon wandering the small, cozy streets or shopping in the mall. Need a break? In and around the harbor are many different terraces and cafes! A tip for if you speak a word of Spanish: during the summer months a real outdoor cinema is set up in Port Saplaya that is free to visit!

Cueva Turche near Bunol The cave "Cueva Turche" (also called "Cueva de Turche") is located in the Juanes River, between Buñol and Yátova. It is a hill that sank and formed a hole in the ground that communicates with the outside. It consists of limestone rocks. On the upper left, the rock is more than 70 million years old. The rest of the rocks are of a more recent formation (about 30 million years old).

The waterfall is spectacular, especially after heavy rains. It has a picnic area with tables and benches. It is an ideal place to go with children and pets. The water is cold and energetic. Also if you swim, you can access the small cave, which gives its name to the place and is next to the waterfall.

At the top of this place, is the Turche Cave Viewpoint (Mirador de la Cueva Turche). It offers views of the waterfall, the pool, the surrounding countryside and Buñol in the distance. Continuing on, you reach some beautiful pools and the Charco Mañán swimming hole. A little further on is the fascinating Cueva de las Palomas.

Cueva del Tortero near Tous This cave is located in the municipality of Tous, Valencia province, about 2 km northeast of this city. It is also just over 1 km from the cave known as El Candil. The entrance is on the slope of a ravine that later flows into the Rambla de la Señora. It is accessed via the Campillo forest path that begins on the road from Alberique to Tous at km 4 in the descent of the Tous pass. Follow this path for about 3 km and before the Castellet hill. We leave the cars and continue on a path that leads to the aforementioned ravine and, after a kilometer, emerges at the entrance to the Tortero cave. The cave is very beautiful, the access to the rooms is narrow, but it is worth it. Mirador del Xùquer near Tous An area with beautiful views, hiking trails and viewpoints.

Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas El Palacio Marqués de Dos Aguas this is a Ceramics Museum. Admire the rococo and neoclassical architecture of this historic palace and discover one of the finest collections of pottery in Valencia, some of which dates back to the 15th century. Enter the palace to explore the Museo Nacional de Cerámica González Martí, a museum with one of the best collections of ceramics in Spain. Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas is open Tuesday to Sunday, excluding certain holidays. Visit the museum's official website for detailed opening hours and for information on days when admission is free. Dos Aguas is also a beautiful village to visit.

Pool furniture
At the pool there are 8 sunbeds and some umbrellas with bases available. Because the weather can sometimes quickly turn to very stormy, we would like to kindly but urgently request you to turn in the umbrellas in the evening or if you are leaving, and secure the cloth with the drawstring. Also please stack the beds with 2 or 3 pieces and place them against the wall to the left of the stairs. This is to prevent damage to the parasols and sun beds. Please note that during your stay you are responsible for the proper use and storage of the pool furniture.
